Fabio Massimo Marrucci

Technical competence, professional responsibility, a view of the whole.

Electrical engineer, registered fire safety professional and safety coordinator. Through Studio Maximo he works with companies, professionals and clients on the design, verification and troubleshooting of electrical installations.

Background

A training between engineering and management.

The professional path of Fabio Massimo Marrucci grows out of two things that are rarely developed together: technical competence and the ability to govern complex processes.

After a degree in Engineering Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he went deeper into organisation and management with a Master’s in Business Engineering. He then continued at Sapienza University of Rome, where he took a Master’s degree in Safety Engineering and Civil Protection.

That multidisciplinary background lets him read an installation not simply as a set of components, calculations and diagrams, but as part of a wider system, in which operational needs, safety, continuity of service, cost and responsibility all have to find a workable balance.

December 2021

How Studio Maximo began.

Studio Maximo was founded in December 2021 as the personal professional signature of Ing. Fabio Massimo Marrucci.

It was founded on a clear principle: a technical design should not stop at producing formally correct documents, but should turn real requirements into solutions that can be built, verified and held consistent with the context the installation has to work in.

That is why every appointment is handled through a direct relationship with the client, the contractors and the other professionals involved. From the first analysis to the sizing, from the drawings to the checks on site, Fabio Massimo keeps responsibility for the technical choices and for how they hold together.

Studio Maximo was never meant to be a generalist firm. It is a specialist practice devoted to electrical and specialist systems, to diagnostics, to safety and to the technical documentation of jobs where reliability and clear decisions are decisive.

In the field

From the design to the built reality.

What sets the work apart is the ability to move constantly between the standards, the calculations, the documentation and what is actually installed. Every choice has to be explainable, verifiable and technically defensible.

Over the course of his career Fabio Massimo has worked on public buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, technology infrastructure, television production centres, institutional premises and environments with sensitive loads.

Between 2022 and 2023 he also served as Technical Manager at an installation company, responsible for assessing and certifying the conformity of electrical and photovoltaic installations, for supervising the sites and for the final documentation. That experience strengthened the link between design, the responsibilities of the contractor and the real conditions of the work.

Design

LV and MV electrical systems, switchboards and distribution networks, normal and emergency lighting, fire detection and alarm systems, continuity of supply and specialist installations.

Testing and diagnostics

Due diligence, power quality, verification of protection coordination, commissioning, and investigation into the causes of faults, anomalies and nuisance tripping.

Roles and responsibilities

Registrations, qualifications and public appointments.

  • Order of Engineers of the Province of Rome Registered since December 2021.
  • Registered fire safety professional Listed by the Italian Ministry of the Interior under DM 5 August 2011, art. 3.
  • Safety coordinator Qualified to act as safety coordinator during both design and construction.
  • Committees of the City of Rome Member, for electrical engineering, of the Safety Committee for Public Entertainment Venues and of the committee for Major Events.

These appointments cover a particularly sensitive part of the profession: assessing the safety of venues and events open to the public, where the reliability of the installations, the management of an emergency and the protection of people all have to be considered as one system.

Principles

The way of working.

Fabio Massimo begins every appointment by understanding the context and what the client actually needs. The design is then developed through stated technical criteria, documented checks and constant comparison with what already exists or has still to be built.

The aim is not simply to deliver drawings, but to provide technical decisions that are understandable, traceable and defensible.

A well designed installation should not merely comply with the standards. It has to work in the real world, stay verifiable over time and answer the needs it was built for.
